The first time I tried this kunafa sandwich was in my daughter’s birth celebration. It was the best. Big hit. Everyone who knew Lebon was excited to have it. And those who were first timers surely enjoyed it too.

It was great next morning too, for breakfast. Just pop it on the George Foreman till its hot and enjoy!

Lebon offers many other sweets too. Their traditional Arabic pastries are amazing. They have dates, pistachio, and walnut varieties. I really like all of them.

If you request, they will package it for travel. They wrap it in bubble wrap for extra protection (before putting the tray in the box.)
Also, the kunafa sandwiches can be packed for travel! But they won’t be assembled and are without syrup.

The ladies working here are always helpful and kind. They are fast and more than willing to work with you. I love stopping by eveytime we pass through Dearborn.

Other notes: They open late in Ramadan. And they are open on Christmas Day.
